HotelGO
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026. This is a general privacy notice for the HotelGO hotel search experience.
Who controls your data
HotelGO is controlled by Miro Morsink, based in the Netherlands.
For privacy questions or data protection requests, contact the Data Protection Officer at flowerabduction@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you choose to use location search, your browser provides approximate latitude and longitude coordinates. We use those coordinates to request nearby hotel information.
We also process your hotel search text, selected search radius, and recent hotel results so the app can display and restore your search experience.
We do not require an account, and we do not intentionally collect payment details through this app.
How we use the information
We use location and search information to show nearby hotels, filter results by hotel name, and display hotel detail pages.
Hotel data, photos, ratings, amenities, and external hotel links may be provided by Tripadvisor or other hotel information providers.
Recent search results are saved in your browser localStorage for up to 30 minutes so results can be restored when you return from a detail page.
HotelGO may earn affiliate commissions when you click certain hotel or travel links and complete an eligible booking or purchase.
Third-party services
When you request nearby hotels, the server may send your approximate coordinates and search parameters to Tripadvisor to retrieve hotel listings.
We use Travelpayouts Drive affiliate technology to help route and attribute some outbound travel links. Travelpayouts or its partners may use cookies, pixels, scripts, or similar technologies to recognize referrals, prevent fraud, measure performance, and calculate commissions.
If you click a hotel or affiliate link, you may leave HotelGO and visit a third-party website. That website is responsible for its own content, booking flow, pricing, cookies, tracking technologies, and privacy practices.
You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect affiliate tracking but should not prevent you from using the basic hotel search experience.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under EU data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data.
You can withdraw browser location permission through your browser or device settings. You can also clear localStorage in your browser to remove saved recent hotel results.
To exercise privacy rights, email flowerabduction@gmail.com. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
Retention and security
Recent hotel search results stored in the browser are designed to expire after 30 minutes.
We use server-side API calls so private provider API keys are not exposed to the browser.
No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to keep collection limited to what is needed for the hotel search experience.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy as the app changes. The latest version will be available on this page.
